Mumbai/UNI: Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, on Friday took a swipe at the Maha Vikas Aghadi government over the presentation of the state budget.

He said the budget has failed to fulfil the needs of people of the state.

While accusing the MVA government of neglecting the farmers in the budget, he said, "Farmers are completely neglected, no loans have been waived.”

Fadnavis further said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had announced to help farmers with Rs 50,000 to Rs one lakh for the crop damages per hectare but there was no mention of it in the budget.
