BSF sacks jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, who complained about food

New Delhi, Apr 19 (IBNS) : The Border Security Force has sacked Tej Bahadur Yadav, the jawan who had posted a video complaining about the sub-standard food being served to the jawans, media reports said.

The reports quoted BSF as saying that a court of inquiry has found Yadav guilty  on certain charges of indiscipline that causes damage to the image of BSF.

He has been dismissed from service as per the provisions of BSF act and rule.

Yadav had created a stir earlier this year by posting videos on social media showing that jawans posted on the border were being served low quality food. BSF, however, denied the allegation.

After Yadav's video went viral on social media, the Prime Minister's Office  sought a detailed factual report on it from the Union home ministry and BSF.
