BSF recovers drone in Amritsar sector

Jalandhar: Alert Border Security Force (BSF) jawans fired on a suspicious flying object coming from Pakistan to Indian territory when they heard its sound in Amritsar sector during the early hours on Wednesday.

During the search of the area, BSF troops recovered a Quadcopter (drone) from the fields near village Havelian.

The suspected flying object is a Quadcopter (make DJI Phantom 4), a BSF official said.

In another incident, BSF troops while carrying out a special search operation in area of Ferozepur sector recovered two plastic bags containing nine packets of contraband, suspected to be heroin, he informed.
