Bomb found near Assam Rifles transit camp in Imphal
Imphal/IBNS: A bomb was found near the Assam Rifle’s transit camp in Manipur's Imphal East district.
Police suspected that, outfit group People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) had planted the bomb.
The bomb squad of Manipur police had safely removed the bomb from the spot and later defused it.
Earlier, an Assam Rifles personnel was injured when suspected insurgents lobbed a hand grenade at the Assam Rifles transit camp in Imphal.
