Chandigarh/IBNS: In another blow to the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set for a massive win in the Haryana civic polls, media reports said.

The results of the polls are coming out on Wednesday.

The BJP is leading in nine out of 10 mayoral seats.

The saffron party's major leads or wins have come from Hisar, Sonipat, Karnal, Rohtak, Ambala and Faridabad.

In Manesar, former BJP leader Dr. Inderjit Yadav, who contested as an Independent candidate, is leading.

In Rohtak, which is the stronghold of Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda, BJP's Ram Avtar registered a decisive win securing over one lakh votes.

The Congress suffered the blow just months after the grand old party faced a defeat in the assembly elections.
