BJP's Bengal chief threatens TMC leaders with encounters

| @indiablooms | Jun 20, 2018, at 08:06 pm

Kolkata, June 20 (IBNS): Triggering a new controversy, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s West Bengal unit chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday warned that those leaders ruling the roost presently would soon either be in jail or killed in encounters.

According to a video release of his speech in Bengal's Jalpaiguri area, Ghosh was heard saying that every bullets will be made to count.

Ghosh was leading a protest against the district administration of Jalpaiguri.

The BJP has alleged that the district administration was acting on directions of the ruling Trinamool Congress government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

He said that those TMC leaders who indulge in hooliganism "will soon either be in jail or straight away there will be an encounter."

Drawing reference to Bollywood villain Gabbar Singh's dialogue from the famous film Sholay, he said, "The bullets will be counted and given.... And corpses will be counted too."

This comes ahead of BJ chief Amit Shah's visit to West Bengal next week.
