BJP will form Govt in two more states : Amit Shah at Haryana rally
Jind, Haryana, Feb 15 (IBNS) : BJP chief Amit Shah on Thursday claimed that the party will form governments in two more states in the next two elections.
Addressing "Hunkar rally' of the party's youth brigade at Pandu Pandara village, Shah said the BJP will soon take its tally of states in which it is in power to 21 from 19.
He also said that the BJP was not against any caste and would ensure ‘sabka vikas’.
As the party organised the rally to kickstart its campaign much ahead of next year's state Assembly elections, the BJP chief said, ""The Congress has said that when Amit Shah comes, he should come with a progress report of four years. There is no need to give a report card to Congress, but we need to give details to the public of Haryana."
He alleged that the Previous Congress government did not provide farmers 50 percent profit to farmers on their input cost, and claimed that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power, he has fulfilled this demand of farmers.
Shah lauded Khattar for giving a corruption-free government in Haryana after decades.
He said that Haryana is a land of warriors, youths, farmers, martyrs. He said that he offers his respects to them. "It is the land that has given foodgrains and soldiers to defend the country."
He said the Centre and state had floated several welfare schemes and there was emphasis on improving the financial condition of farmers.
Shah said the provision of new crop pricing is due to the “consistent efforts by Haryana Agriculture Minister OP Dhankar”.

Earlier, amidst heavy security for the rally, Shah was given a warm welcome on his arrival.
