BJP will also come to power in Telangana: Muralidhar Rao

Hyderabad, Jul 30 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge P Muralidhar Rao on Tuesday said that the party has secured power in Karnataka and it would also secure power in Telangana.

Speaking at the Vijayotsav Meeting , organized by the BJP at the party state headquarter here in connection with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had proved its majority in the Assembly on Monday, Mr Rao said that the winning of trust vote in Karnataka Assembly by the Chief Minister Yediyurappa has proved its growing strength in South India. ”

Rao alleged that even though the Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar had proceed undemocratic way, the BJP maintained calm and secured power in a democratic way while winning the confidence of the people of Karnataka.

Stating that the collation government led by Congress and JD(S) in Karnataka collapsed on its own, he said the BJP government would complete its full term in Karnataka.

Rao asserted that BJP has sufficient majority and there was no need to take the help of the Congress and JD(S) members.

He affirmed that the Yediurappa led-government would take necessary steps to resolve the problems of the farmers and the development of the Karnataka state.
