Lucknow/Patna, Mar 14 (IBNS): As counting progresses on Wednesday for the recently held bypolls in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the BJP has once again started trailing in both the by-poll seats in Uttar Pradesh with a likely setback in Bihar, media reports said.

Although the saffron brigade was doing quite well since morning, the latest trend indicates the BJP is trailing in both Gorakhpur and Phulpur Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP) is hinting at a strong comeback in both the seats.

In Bihar, the BJP is trailing in both Araria parliamentary constituency and Jehanabad assembly seat.

In both the seats, Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is leading.

The BJP is only leading in Bhabua assembly seat in Bihar.
