Guwahati, Sept 18 (IBNS): Assam Finance Minister and Convenor of North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that BJP will extend outside support to the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) led government in Arunachal Pradesh.

Talking to media, the BJP leader said that NEDA will form the government in the state under leadership of Pema Khandu.

"At present BJP to extend outside support to the government. We will meet PM Narendra Modi and BJP's National President Amit Shah on October 1 and thereafter will decide whether BJP to take part in the government," Sarma said.

Earlier a crucial meeting was held between top BJP leaders and Pema Khandu at Hotel Donyi Polo Ashok in Itanagar.

On Sept 16, Congress received another set back as Chief Minister Pema Khandu and 42 MLA's of the party joined PPA.
