BJP-TMC are two sides of the same coin: Sonia Gandhi

Kolkata, Apr 26 (IBNS): Urging voters to bring Congress in power in West Bengal, party supremo Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the BJP and the TMC and called them two sides of the same coin.

"Like Mamata ji broke her promises, so did Modi ji. Today, common people are struggling. Youth despair about their future," Gandhi said while addressing a rally in Sreerampur area, which is close to West Bengal capital Kolkata.

"They have troubled every life. BJP & TMC are two sides of the same coin," she said.

She hit out at the two parties and said: "TMC-BJP never had faith in democracy."

"Vote for Congress. The new Govt will be yours. It will fight for your progress," Gandhi said.

Four phases of the West Bengal Assembly polls have been held so far while people will exercise their franchise in the fifth phase of polling on Apr 30.
