BJP MLA objects to Priyanka's Shimla home

| | Jun 18, 2016, at 07:31 pm
New Delhi/Shimla, Jun 18 (IBNS): Suresh Bhardwaj, the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP's) MLA from Shimla, has raised objections to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra building a house in the capital city of Himachal Pradesh and a popular tourist destination.
According to media reports, Bhardwaj has written to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to cancel the permission given to her by the state government. He claims that Priyanka's plot is near the Presidential summer guest house, the Retreat, in Shimla.

He claimed that the presence of the presidential summer retreat and the Kalyani helipad in the area makes it a high security zone and therefore no construction should be allowed there, media reported.
