New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled its MLA Pranav Singh 'Champion' who was caught in a video dancing with guns in hand. The video went viral on internet.

Singh is an MLA from Uttarakhand's Khanpur assembly constituency.

In the video, the BJP lawmaker from Uttarakhand could also be seen keeping a gun on his mouth. He could be seen wearing a black vest and white trousers in the video. Taking a sip of a drink from a glass, he is also seen holding a rifle in his hand.

The BJP leader, however, said the video was shot three years ago. “They fished out this three-year-old video just to malign my image with a malicious, ulterior motive,” he was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Singh, a former Congress man, was one of the 9 MLAs who had rebelled against former Chief Minister Harish Rawat in 2016. Later he had joined the BJP.
