BJP chief Amit Shah to visit Madhya Pradesh today
Bhopal, Oct 9 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Tuesday will visit poll-bound Madhya Pradesh to campaign for his outfit ahead of the state elections.
Shah has a day-long programme in the state, which is presently ruled by the saffron party under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He will meet the party workers of Gwalior and Chambal at 12 pm.
The state polls will be held on Nov 28. The counting of votes will take place on Dec 11.
The Congress, under the leadership of state chief Kamal Nath and leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, is eyeing on to wrest power in the state.
The Madhya Pradesh poll is crucial for both the BJP and Congress ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in few months' time.
