BJP activists unhappy over seat-sharing in constituencies of Mumbai

Thane, Oct 1  (UNI/IBNS) Close on the heels of Shiv Sena's opposition, the BJP activists from Kalyan have revolted against the party for foregoing the Kalyan-West seat to the Sena.

The party has given up the seat currently occupied by Narendra Pawar to the Shiv Sena nominee in the seat-sharing this time.

Shiv Sena will field its candidates from Palghar, Bhoisar, Nalla Sopara, Vasai assembly constituencies in Palghar district and Bhiwandi R, Sahapur, Bhiwandi-E, Kalyan-W, Ambernath, Kalyan-R, Owla Majiwada, Kopri Panchpakadi, Mumbra-Kalwa in Thane district, Shiv Sena and the BJP announced on Tuesday hrough an official statement.

The entire Navi Mumbai has been secured by BJP.

Following the release of the seat distribution formula, the followers of Pawar assembled at his office in protest and warned en-masse resignation if the seat is conceded to Shiv Sena.
