Thiruvananthapuram, May 22 (UNI) A young man with a woman pillion rider rode his bike on the Railway track leading to a 20 minute halt of Chennai-Guruvayur Express near Parasala on Sunday midnight.

Just before the arrival of the train, the gate keeper at Eythukondankani, who noticed the bike riding on the track, informed it to the nearest station at Neyyatinkara and the gate keeper of the next level cross at Kannankuzhy, sources said here on Wednesday.

The train was stopped for nearly 20 minutes after the loco pilot noticed the bike riding on the track on the Parasala stretch.

Later, the loco pilot noted the bike number and informed it to the Railway police.

The Railway Police later came to know that the registration of the bike number was bogus.

However, the police and the intelligence agencies are yet to ascertain whether it was a suicide attempt or a case of sabotage, sources added.
