Bihar: Dreaded Maoists set aflame two vehicles

Gaya, Sep 27 (UNI) Dreaded Maoists set aflame two vehicles of a private road construction company near Bhaisadohar village under Chhakarbandha police station area in this district late last night.

Police said here today that around eight extremists of outlawed CPI (Maoist) set aflame a JCB machine and a Hyva truck of the private company engaged in the construction of a road near Bhaisadohar village.

Police said that a joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district police investigated the matter at the spot. It was suspected that ultras torched vehicles of the company after its management refused to pay extortion to them.

An FIR had been registered at the police station concerned in this connection.
