Bihar: Criminals loot Rs 3 lakh from head master after killing him

Khagaria, May 20 (UNI) Unidentified criminals looted Rs 3 lakh from the head master of a school near Balkunda village under Mansi police station area in the district late last night.

Khagaria sub divisional police officer Alok Ranjan said here today that outlaws shot dead the head master of Rahiar middle school Shashi Bhushan Bhagat (45) near Balkunda village on his resistance and made good their escape after looting the cash.

Source said, Bhagat was going to catch a train when he was intercepted.

Ranjan said the body had been sent for autopsy. An FIR had been registered in this connection. A massive manhunt was on to nab the accused.
