Patna, Nov 21 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Bihar BJP president Nityanand Rai has landed in a major controversy by threatening to chop off hands of those who raise fingers at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“If anyone raises fingers at PM Modi, we together will either break it or chop off the hand itself,” Rai said at a rally in Patna on Monday.

He said PM Modi has faced many challenges in his life to reach his position today and lead the country.

“This is a matter of pride for all of us and anything spoken against him will not be tolerated,” Rai allegedly threatened.

Confronted by media persons, Rai later clarified that his statement was just want to warn people and critics.

Rai who is also a party MP was made the state BJP president last year after the tenure of his predecessor Mangal Pandey came to an end.

He was chosen to cause a dent in the Yadav vote bank of RJD chief and former chief minister Lalu Prasad.
