Beef ban: Kashmir govt terminates service two law officers
Srinagar, Sept 22 (IBNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday ordered the disengagement of additional advocate general, Jammu, Vishal Sharma and deputy advocate general, Jammu, Parimoksh Seth with immediate effect.
Parmoksh Seth had filed a petition before High Court seeking ban on the sale of beef in the state.
"The Government has ordered the disengagement of Additional Advocate General, Jammu, Mr. Vishal Sharma and Deputy Advocate General, Jammu, Mr. Parimoksh Seth with immediate effect," a government spokesperson said.
Perinently, additional advocate general Vishal Sharma was recently shifted from the state home department for his "failure" to defend government on beef ban case in the high court.
