BCCI president Sourav Ganguly's mother COVID-19 positive, hospitalised

Kolkata/IBNS: Former Indian skipper and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly's mother, Nirupa Ganguly, tested positive for COVID-19 Monday late night, reports said.

She has been admitted to a private hospital here.

According hospital sources, Nirupa Ganguly is undergoing treatment in a stable condition under the supervision of a four-physician medical board.

A doctor monitoring the development said that Sourav Ganguly's mother had mild shortness of breath though her other health parameters were normal as of now.

The hospital sources said that Sourav Ganguly had tested negative for COVID-19.
