Babul Supriyo slams Mamata Banerjee's comments questioning authenticity of Balakot attack

| @indiablooms | Mar 02, 2019, at 04:58 pm

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) BJP lawmaker from Asansol in West Bengal and Union Minister Babul Supriyo on Saturday lashed out at the Trinamool Congress supremo and the state Chief Minister

Mamata Banerjee for her comments questioning the authenticity of Indian Air Force attack destroying JeM terror camp at Balakot in Pakistan.

"Look at this, what a shame that Pak media is now using Mamata Banerjee's comments where she raised suspicion on India and our Army destroying Balkot terror camp. They are saying that even an Indian Chief Minister is implying that nothing like that happened. Mamtaji is a disgrace to our nation," Supriyo tweeted with a video of Pakistan TV footage.

In a series of tweets, he further said: "National security is of paramount importance" and thus comments on 'conspiracy theories' by Mamata Banerjee and others should be ignored.

"The army has confirmed that they achieved what they set out to do - demolish

Terror camps in Pak," he wrote also adding now it is up to the government

to decide when and how if any details are to be released.

On February 28, Banerjee had said,  "We have the right to know how many people diedin the air strike and who were they? We want to know the actual incident as we have not received any details."
