Attacks on Hindus: Sushma Swaraj expresses concern,directs Indian envoy to take up issue PM

New Delhi, Nov 6 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday directed Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka to convey to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina India's 'grave concern' on the safety and security of Hindus in the Asian nation.

"I have asked Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka to call on the Prime Minister and express our grave concern about /1 @templetree1," Swaraj tweeted.

"The safety and wellbeing of the Hindus in Bangladesh. @templetree1 /2," she said.

Several incidents of attacks on Hindu houses and temples in Bangladesh have been reported in recent times.
