Assam: Second phase of polling starts

Guwahati, Apr 11 (IBNS) Voting has begun in the second phase of the assembly polls for 61 constituencies in Assam on Monday.

A total of 1,04,35,277 voters will decide the fates of 525 candidates in the second phase of the voting.

Polling is currently taking place in 12,699 polling stations in the state.

First phase of polling took place on Apr 4.

Voters lined up in front of polling booths as polling  began in 31 constituencies spread over three districts in part two of the opening phase of the ongoing Assembly polls elections in West Bengal.

Polling is taking place in 31 constituencies  across three districts- West Midnapore , Bankura and Burdwan- in the state.
