Assam Rifles nabs three NDFB-S militants in Nagaland

Guwahati, Sep 14 (IBNS): Troops of Assam Rifles had apprehended three hardcore militants belonging to banned outfit National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Songbijit (NDFB-S) in Nagaland.

According to the reports, based on information regarding movement of NDFB militants from Mon to Dimapur via Tuli-Amguri, a Mobile Vehicle Check Post was established by a party from Company Operating Base Tuli.

During spot check, a Bolero was intercepted, in which three militants of the Assam based banned faction NDFB-S were apprehended.

The nabbed militants were identified as Dwimalu Wary, resident of Simargaon, Kokrajhar, Ringkhong Brahma, resident of East Sonapuri, Simbhorgaon, Kokrajhar and Phunkha Basumatary, a resident of Jodanpur, Kokrajhar.

The apprehends were handed over to Tuli police station for further investigation.
