Assam: Police constable arrested for pro-Pakistan FB post
Guwahati, Mar 2(UNI) A constable of Assam Police was today suspended and arrested for allegedly posting a Facebook comment in support of Pakistani PM Imran Khan.
Police sources said the constable, Rekibul Islam Khan, had made a Facebook post, terming the Pakistani PM as 'great'.
"He is a member of a disciplined force. He should not be making objectionable comments," the sources added.
The constable has been placed under immediate suspension and arrested and investigations launched into the case.
