Assam: Man kills mother, throws body in a well

Guwahati, June 25 (IBNS): In a shocking incident in Assam’s Sonitpur district, a man has brutally killed his mother and dumped the body in a well. 

The incident took place at Dah Parvatiya area in Tezpur town, where the man killed his widowed mother by slitting her throat and then threw the body in a well on Sunday night.

The man named Dhruva Bora attacked his mother Sarumai Bora by a billhook (Dao) and killed her.

On Monday morning, some local people had spotted the body in the well hidden under garbage and immediately informed the local police.

Later, the police recovered the beheaded body from the well.

Locals also beat up the killer and later police arrested him and recovered the sharp weapon.
