Guwahati/IBNS: Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi inaugurated a medical dispensary in presence of Health and Family Welfare Minister Keshab Mahanta in the premises of Raj Bhavan in Guwahati on Wednesday.

It may be noted that with the inauguration, the medical dispensary in Raj Bhavan campus would function on 24X7 basis. The dispensary will have an outpatient service, patients service, pharmacy services, laboratory services and 21 staff including five doctors.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Mukhi said close on the heels of the infrastructural development of quality health care services across the state, the medical dispensary will be yet another addition to meeting the health care requirements of the residents of Raj Bhavan.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has given tremendous emphasis on the health care delivery system for all sections of the people, the strengthening of medical education and health infrastructure in the state would go a long way in realizing health for all.
