Assam Congress MLA Jamal Uddin Ahmed dies at 66
Guwahati/IBNS: Congress MLA from Badarpur assembly constituency in Assam’s Karimganj district Jamal Uddin Ahmd died on Tuesday night.
Ahmed breathed his last at Karimganj civil hospital and he was 66.
Ahmed was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly in 2011 and 2016 as a Congress candidate.
He had complained un-easiness on Tuesday evening and he was rushed to Karimganj civil hospital and he breathed his last at the government-run hospital.
His last rites will be held at Karimganj on Wednesday evening.
