Assam Assembly polls: Exit polls predict BJP victory

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): Exit polls on Monday showed that BJP is likely to form the government in Assam.

As per the India Today-Axis My India Exit polls, BJP is likely to win 79-93 seats in the state.

Congress might win 26-33 seats in the state, according to the exit poll.

Assam is currently ruled by the Congress.
