Amritsar, Sep 9 (IBNS): Chief minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party leader, Arvind Kejriwal, will skip the special Delhi Assembly session on Friday as he will be in Amritsar, according to media reports.

Kejriwal is on a four day visit to Punjab regarding the upcoming elections and will be in Amritsar on the second day of his tour.

The special Delhi Assembly session is being held to discuss various issues pertaining to Delhi.

According to the media, while AAP lawmakers will target the Centre and Lt Governor Najeeb Jung over a number of issues the Opposition will raise their voice over  former AAP minster Sandeep Kumar and the objectionable CD.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal tweeted, "AAP promises status of "holy city" to Sri Amritsar Sahib walled city and Sri Anandpur Sahib."
