Army Chief MM Naravane arrives in Kashmir

Srinagar/UNI: Army chief General MM Naravane arrived here on Wednesday on a two-day visit and reviewed the security situation in the hinterland in the Kashmir valley.

An Army official said that the Army chief arrived at Srinagar on a two day visit to Kashmir to review the prevailing security situation in the Union Territory.

“On arrival, Gen Naravane visited units and formations in the hinterland where he was briefed by the local Commanders on the existing security situation” he said.

He said the Army chief expressed appreciation to all ranks for their relentless efforts.
