Arms and ammunitions recovered in Manipur
Imphal: Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions and other warlike stores from Andro Chingthak in Manipur's Imphal East on Monday.
Based on intelligence input, security forces had recovered the arms, ammunition during mobile frisking, checking and search operation in the different areas of Andro at Andro Chingthak and neighboring area of Maringthel.
Security personnel had recovered one countrymade AK Rifle with magazine, two 9 mm pistols with magazine both marked as ‘Made in Japan’, two wireless set both marked as ‘BAOFENG’, 15 AK rifle ammunitions, 21 numbers of 9 mm ammunitions, 18 detonator and 15 empty cases of assorted ammunitions.
