Andhra Pradesh: 28 passengers hurt as private bus overturns

Vijayawada, May 6 (UNI) As many as 28 passengers travelling in a private travels bus were injured, three of them seriously, when it veered off the road and overturned at Nawabpet village of Penuganchiprolu Mandal in Krishna district on Monday.

Police said that the private luxury bus was going to Hyderabad from Yanam when the accident took place.

As many as 10 children are among the injured and the condition of three is stated to be serious.

The injured were shifted to the government general hospital in Nandigama and later shifted to a private hospital here.

Police registered a case.
