An Indian cannot tolerate armed, lawless goons: Anand Mahindra on JNU violence
Mumbai/IBNS: Not paying a heed to any ideology, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra condemned the violence on students and teachers at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus saying "an Indian cannot tolerate armed, lawless goons" even as the political blame-game continues between the Left and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) which is the students' wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s parent organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
"It doesn't matter what your politics are. It doesn't matter what your ideology is. It doesn't matter what your faith is. If you're an Indian, you cannot tolerate armed, lawless goons. Those who invaded JNU tonight must be traced & hunted down swiftly & given no quarter..." Mahindra has tweeted.

As many as 26 students and teachers were injured when a group of masked people entered the campus and girls' hostels with sticks, rods and sledgehammers and vandalised the campus.
JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh and professor Sucharita Sen were badly injured in the violence.
The injured including Ghosh were taken to AIIMS.
"I have been brutally attacked by masked men," Ghosh told media just after the attack took place.
While the Left has been blaming the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for the violence, the latter has alleged that the Leftists had only vandalised the campus.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Shah has already ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The Delhi Police on Monday registered a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with the violence.
