Amit Shah visits Odisha

Bhubaneswar, July 4 (IBNS): BJP president Amit Shah is visiting Odisha on Tuesday.

He thanked people of Odisha for giving him warm welcome for the visit.

"Thank you Odisha for the warm welcome," he tweeted.

Shah paid floral tributes to the great warriors of the "Paik Rebellion".

The warriors had fought against the East India Company's rule in Odisha in 1817.

He met people in Hugulapata village of the state and spoke on the achievement of the Centre.

"Briefed residents of booth no. 6, Hugulapata village, Ganjam (Odisha) on BJP's ideology and achievements of PM @narendramodi's government," he said.
