New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS) BJP President Amit Shah will meet his parties Bihar allies on Monday to finalise sharing of the state's 243 seats for the Assembly polls, expected to be held on October.

Chirag Paswan, son of the Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, met Shah earlier this month to complain against what the BJP allies was a delay in finalising the seat-sharing. the delay.

He also reportedly complained about the allies not being projected by the BJP during its campaign in Bihar.

The LJP reportedly wants to contest at least 75 seats, while the RLSP of Upendra Kushwaha wants 66. New partner and former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's party is demanding 40 seats.

On the other hand, the BJP,  making Bihar its bull's eye,  wants to field at least 160 candidates, which will not be possible if seats are spared according to the demand of its allies.

The NDA takes on an alliance of Nitish Kumar's JD(U) , Lalu Yadav's RJD and the Congress, who have already announced seat sharing.
