Amit Shah hosts dinner for retired IB &RAW chiefs

New Delhi, July 8 (UNI): Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday hosted a dinner in honour of retired Intelligence Bureau director Rajiv Jain and secretary, Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) chief Anil Dhasmana.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shah lauded their contribution in strengthening National Security during their illustrious career spanning 40 years.

Mr Jain and Mr Dhasmana thanked the home minister for the gesture of hosting a dinner in their honour.

Both officers retired in June were succeeded by Mr Arvind Kumar and Mr Samant Kumar Goel of 1984 batch IPS officers.

Ministers for state for home affairs G. Kishan Reddy and Nityanand Rai, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union home secretary Rajiv Gauba and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
