Amethi: Woman gangraped over land dispute

Amethi, June 6 (IBNS): A woman was allegedly gangraped over a land dispute in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, said reports on Friday.
The incident took place at Gauriganj area on Wednesday.
 
In her complaint, the woman alleged that three men first assaulted and then gangraped her.
 
However, no arrests have been made in the case so far.
 
Amethi District Magistrate Jagatraj Tripathi said the incident is yet to be confirmed and investigations are on.
 
Meanwhile, Amethi MP and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi condemned the incident and said, "It is very disturbing the way every day we are hearing about crimes against women. This is unacceptable."
