Amarinder Singh meets PM Modi

New Delhi, Mar 22 (IBNS): Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.

He requested him for a special farm debt waiver package for Punjab.

Singh tweeted: "Called on PM @narendramodi ji today, have requested for special farm debt waiver package for Punjab."

He also met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Speaking on the meeting, the Congress leader tweeted:"Met FM @arunjaitley at his residence, asked him for immediate release of CCL for smooth wheat procurement in Punjab."
