Air India plane goes missing for few moments over Hungary

New Delhi, Mar 10 (IBNS): An Air India passenger aircraft on way to London went off the radar for a few moments while flying over Hungary, the airline said on Friday.

"#AI171 lost contact in Hungarian air space today. This happened due to frequency fluctuation. Flight landed safely," Air India tweeted.

The airlines said that all passengers were landed safe.

"Pax well taken care & all pax are safe. Air India always takes well precaution of pax safety," the airlines posted.

The flight took off from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai at 0700 hours and landed safely at London's Heathrow Airport at 11.05 hours, media reports said.
