Air India flight receives special salute after landing in Male to mark 46 years of air service between India, Maldives

Male: Air India's flight  AI-267 received a water cannon welcome as it landed in Male city on Monday to mark  46 years of air service between India and Maldives.

In 1976,  Air India operated its first flight from Trivandrum to Male.

Air India tweeted: " #Fly AI: AI-267 was welcomed with a water cannon salute as it landed at Male airport #MACLmedia today to commemorate 46 years of air service between India & Maldives."
