Air India Express, GoAir, Indigo cancel flight rescheduling charges in view of Coronavirus outbreak

New Delhi/IBNS: Air India Express has announced that it will allow its passengers to reschedule their tickets free of charge for bookings made between March 12 and March 31, said media reports.

According to a Times Now report, the career said in a press release, "In view of the uncertain travel situation due to COVID-19, free date change will be permitted up to three days prior to the flight departure, for all new bookings affected between March 12, 2020 to March 31, 2020 "

On Sunday, budget airlines GoAir also said it will not charge passengers on cancellation or rescheduling of seats booked with it between March 8 and April 30. The offer can be availed up to 14 days before the departure of flights.

Indigo, too, announced on Sunday that it will not charge its customers, rescheduling fees for tickets booked between March 12th and March 31 for both domestic and international flights.

According to reports, Air India Express has issue travel advisory which says all passengers arriving into India are required to fill up a self-reporting form in view of the outbreak of coronavirus.

Passengers with travel history to China, Korea, Japan, Iran, Italy, Hong Kong Macau, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, and Singapore to compulsorily undergo medical screening immediately after arrival.
