After Mumbai's civic body's notice on illegal construction, Sonu Sood meets Sharad Pawar

Mumbai/IBNS: Sonu Sood met NCP chief and ally of Maharashtra's ruling Maha Vikas Agadi government on Wednesday, days after the Bollywood actor was accused by Mumbai's civic body of turning a residential building in Juhu into a hotel.

The reason behind the meeting isn't known yet.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had filed a police complaint against Sood in the matter seeking legal action against him.

According to media reports, the civic body had filed a police complaint after finding that Sood had not complied with the rules and continued with unauthorised construction even after a notice served to him in October last year.

The police have not filed an FIR in the case, so far.

Sood has approached the Bombay High Court challenging BMC's notice, added reports.
