Actors Radharavi, Namitha joins BJP

| @indiablooms | Nov 30, 2019, at 11:46 pm

Chennai/UNI: Popular Tamil film actors and former MLA Radharavi, who was recently expelled from the Opposition DMK for his misogynistic comments about actor Nayanthara at a film event, and actress Namitha joined the BJP in the presence of party’s National President J P Nadda here on Saturday.

Hours after Radharavi quit the ruling AIADMK, which he re-joined in June after his expulsion from the DMK, Namitha too joined the
saffron party.

Namitha had joined the AIADMK a few years ago and also campaigned for the party in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

She joined the BJP in the presence of senior leaders and said she took this decision for the benefit of the state.

Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been striving hard for the welfare of the state, she said this was precisely the reason she
joined the BJP.
