After Pooja Bhatt and Sushant Singh, actor Riya Sen on Thursday joined Congress top leader and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi's massive nationwide rally, dubbed as Bharat Jodo Yatra, in Akola, Maharashtra.

In several videos trending on social media, Riya is seen walking along with Rahul in the rally.

Riya is the granddaughter of acting legend Suchitra Sen and the younger daughter of actor and former Trinamool Congress MP Moon Moon Sen.

On Nov 2, Pooja, who is vocal on socio-political issues, walked a few distance in Hyderabad with Rahul in the rally, which is aiming to boost up the beleaguered opposition party.

Sushant too walked with Rahul earlier this month in Maharashtra.

The Congress leader is in the middle of his marathon yatra, which has already covered various states over the last two months.

The yatra had started from Tamil Nadu on Sept 7.

The Congress will face the mighty ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and spirited Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat.

The Gujarat polls will be held in two phases on Dec 1 and 5. The results will be declared on Dec 8.
