Mumbai/IBNS: Controversial actor-producer Kamal Rashid Khan or KRK was Tuesday arrested by Mumbai Police over his two-year-old tweets that had triggered a row, media reports said.

KRK was arrested after he landed in Mumbai Airport.

The Mumbai Police said he will be produced in the Borivali Court Tuesday.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed against him based on a complaint filed by Yuva Sena's core committee member Rahul Kanal, Hindustan Times reported.

KRK, who describes himself as a critic and trade analyst, had allegedly made derogatory remarks against late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan on Twitter.
