New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS) : The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad began a counter protest outside the Delhi Police Headquarters on Wednesday seeking action against JNU students Umar Khalid and Kanhaiya Kumar over the alleged anti-India sloganeering that took place inside the university campus last year, reports said.

The Delhi Police is yet to file a chargesheet against those who who were caught on camera during an event inside the campus.

The ABVP demonstration comes a day after students and teachers of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University organised a protest march against ABVP's "hooliganism" and violence in the Ramjas college last week.

Meanwhile,  ABVP has suspended two students  for getting into a scuffle with the All India Students' Association (AISA).
