Paris, Nov 19 (IBNS): A key suspect in the Paris attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud has been killed during the police raid in Saint Denis area of France on Wednesday, media reports said on Thursday.

Abaaoud was the suspected organizer of the attacks in the French capital last week.

"The suspected organiser of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed Wednesday in a major police raid in Saint Denis," France24 reported quoting Paris official.

Though details are still emerging, terrorists carried out multiple coordinated shootings and bomb attacks across Paris on Friday targeting a concert hall, cafes and the Stade de France stadium, reportedly killing more than 120 people and wounding some 400 others.

According to media reports, Da’esh (also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
