5.8 magnitude earthquake hits Uttarakhand, tremors felt in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS): A 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit Uttarakhand on Monday night.
Tremors were felt across north India including Delhi and neighbouring Gurgaon as well as Punjab.
According to reports, the earthquake struck at 10.33 pm.
It had its epicentre in Ukimath in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.
The tremors lasted some 7 to 10 seconds.
No casualties have been reported so far.
